The Dimensions of Recovery: Holistic Models for Understanding & Healing Trauma

Online 2020

An online course I am developing for survivors, helpers, and anyone interested in holistic models of trauma and recovery.

This course is designed to explore trauma through a somatic-relational-social-ecological lense, explaining the effects of trauma on the body, sense of connection, and social & environmental safety.

I will then outline approaches to healing that get less attention in the mainstream mental health system, such as:

  • movement practices

  • food/herbal medicine

  • connection with nature/nature wisdom

  • love & relational safety

  • creativity

  • collective action & social justice

I'll post more information as it becomes available!
